Online TN Analyzer, HATN-2000, is a measuring equipment that quantifies total nitrogen by using the UV absorption spectrophotometry method. By oxidizing various nitrogenous compounds into nitrate nitrogen through oxidative degradation, it is quantified by using the UV absorption spectrophotometry. HATN-2000 has a simple configuration that has adopted the 7-port control valve to enable inflow of fixed quantity of sample and reagent for the purpose of accurate measurement. It has less clogging due to the use of large tubes, and it can automatically check the supply of sample and reagent.

Characteristics

HATN-2000

Simple structure:7-port control valve

Improved measurement accuracy

Compliance with the Standard Water Pollutant Testing Method

Economical maintenance expenses

Status condition display

Functions that separately discharges hazardous
waste liquid and general liquid (Option)

Principle

In the pretreatment step, by applying alkaline potassium persulfate and high heat to the sample, organic and inorganic nitrogen compound is turned into nitrate ions by using oxidative degradation. After cooling, the acidity is lowered and absorbance is measured to quantify the total nitrogen. The absorbance of nitrate ion is measured at 220nm, and the interference factor is compensated at 275nm.
